Broward County Southwest Region Library 5th Annual Teen Volunteer Expo Saturday, September 25, from 10am to 12pm. Our purpose is to connect motivated high school students with community organizations which can provide valuable life experience to young people and help inspire volunteerism as a lifelong commitment. Looking for students as part of the hippo-therapy team. We provide a short orientation before any new member joins a team. At farm near the corner of Griffin Road and Flamingo Blvd. The therapy sessions take place every Saturday morning from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Volunteers assist staff during No School Camp Days and Summer Camp. Volunteers are required to complete an application and interview with staff prior to assignment.
