City of Cooper City

                             The City of Cooper City is a municipal corporation that was created by  a Special Act of the Florida Legislature on June 20, 1959.

Cooper City is a vibrant community and is proud to boast about its strong sense of community, excellent park and recreational facilities and exceptional schools. Over the years, Cooper City has earmed the reputation as an excellent place to "grow families."

It is with great pleasure and pride that Mayor Debby Eisinger and all the Commissioners welcome residents and guests to Cooper City.  The mission of Cooper City is to provide excellent services and facilities to support a high quality of life for our residents.

  Family Circle Magazine has named Cooper City as one of the top ten Towns for families in their August 2007 issue. The magazine's criteria when picking the towns included suburban charm combined with big-city opportunities, affordable housing, good jobs, TOP RATE SCHOOLS (LIKE CCSH!!), wide open spaces and — a lot less stress.
